Coral Gables-based real estate investment and development firm, received two public -art honors for “Minna,” the Jaume Plensa sculpture commissioned for the new public park at CORA Merrick ParkCORA Merrick Park, a 74-residence, wellness-focused boutique condominium being developed with The Boschetti Group and designed by Arquitectonica.
The firm’s newly completed 4225 Ponce4225 Ponce office development was also named a finalist for commercial exterior design. The three recognitions were presented during two separate Coral Gables awards ceremonies conducted recently last Thursday and reflect Constellation’s broader investment in architecture, public art and placemaking throughout the city.
At the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce’s annual City Beautiful Awards, Constellation Group and The Boschetti Group received the top honor in the “Art in Public Places” category for “Minna,” a monumental sculpture by internationally acclaimed Spanish artist Jaume Plensa.
Commissioned by Constellation through the City of Coral Gables’’ Art in Public Places program, the sculpture is currently is on display outside the Coral Gables Museum and will ultimately become the centerpiece of a new public park at CORA Merrick Park, currently under construction with completion scheduled in 2028.
The firm was also was named a finalist in the “Exterior Facade, Commercial Building” category for 4225 Ponce, a newly delivered, Class A+ boutique office and retail project developed by Constellation Group and the Boschetti Group, designed by Arquitectonica. Located directly across from the Shops at Merrick Park, the project represents the first completed component of the development team’s broader vision for the Merrick Park neighborhood.
Later that day, Constellation Group received a third honor when Coral Gables Magazine named “Minna” its “Staff Choice for Best Public Art” in the publication’s annual “Best of the Gables” Awards ceremony at The Globe. The magazine described the sculpture as “”a national caliber piece”” that “”provides a stunning visual illusion.””

Collectively, these projects are helping create a more complete, walkable neighborhood while reflecting our long-term commitment to public art and Coral Gables’ architectural and cultural legacy.”
Designed by Arquitectonica, 4225 Ponce is an eight-story, 84,000-square-foot Class A+ office and retail development located across from the Shops at Merrick Park. Anchored by UBS, the project introduces a new generation of boutique workplace environments to Coral Gables, featuring premium office space, ground-floor retail, private office terraces, and a rooftop level with panoramic views. It is the city’s only Florida Green Building Coalition Platinum-certified commercial office building.
“Minna” is a 12-foot-tall bronze sculpture depicting the face of a young woman with her eyes gently closed, reflecting Plensa’’s internationally recognized exploration of humanity, contemplation and inner stillness.
Following its temporary exhibition at the Coral Gables Museum Plaza, the sculpture will be permanently installed permanently in the new 5,000-square-foot public park directly in front of an entrance to the Shops at Merrick Park. The park is being designed, landscaped and delivered by the CORA development team before being donated to the City of Coral Gables. Anchored by “Minna,” it will create a landscaped civic connection among the Shops, 4225 Ponce and CORA Merrick Park while ensuring the artwork remains permanently accessible to the public.
