In the wake of Monday’s devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake in western Colombia, organizers of the benefit concert heading to the Kaseya Center this weekend have expanded its mission and officially renamed it Unidos por los Nuestros (United for Our Own).
The international telethon and live show was originally billed as Unidos por Venezuela to aid victims of the magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, the strongest to hit the country in over a century. Relief efforts now support the affected communities of the two nations still grappling with severe destruction and loss.
“My people, in the difficult times is when we have to stand together the most,” headliner Marc Anthony wrote in an Instagram post sharing the concert renaming, adding in Spanish, “Today I invite you to be part of this beautiful cause.”
Anthony’s Maestro Cares Foundation is organizing the event alongside Cárdenas Marketing Network, TelevisaUnivision y Univision Foundation and PIMIENTO Entertainment, with support from iHeartRadio, Spotify, EB Public Relations and Arco Entertainment.
Latin music’s biggest stars unite for one night
The benefit concert will take place this Sunday, August 16, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Kaseya Center. The lineup of stellar performers have grown to include more than 25 artists, including:

How to watch and help
In global solidarity, the live show will stream and air live across Univision, ViX, WAPA networks, TelevisaUnivision radio stations, iHeartLatino, WAPA Stations and Venevision in Venezuela. The broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. ET and PT / 5 p.m. CT.
Viewers tuning in will be able to contribute directly by scanning on-screen QR codes, texting the word UNIDOS to 707070 or visiting the Univision website.
Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be distributed to internationally recognized humanitarian organizations — including All Hands & Hearts, CARE, Global Empowerment Mission, TECHO, and World Central Kitchen — to provide immediate relief, food assistance, mental health support, rebuild homes, repair schools and more for the victims in both Venezuela and Colombia.
