August 13, 2026 – The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System improved to a perfect inspection result in its latest review by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General. Inspectors evaluated five areas, including organizational culture, patient safety and quality of care, and issued zero recommendations for corrective action, an improvement from eight recommendations following the system’s previous inspection released in 2024.
