New Hampshire Employees’ Association endorses Victor Orlando in NH-02 Republican primary
CONCORD, N.H. —
The state Employees’ Association is backing Victor Orlando in the second Congressional District Republican primary.
Orlando met with union officials at SEIU 1984 headquarters in Concord Thursday.
As a tradesman who owns and operates his own roofing business, Orlando says this endorsement from other working-class Granite Staters means a lot.
“The unions give the workers a lot. What do they also give the people who hire the unions? They give them an expert workforce who’s trained and knows what they’re doing,” Orlando said.
This was not a standalone endorsement for the State Employees. They also endorsed incumbent Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander, who is facing a Democratic primary challenger on Sept. 8.
