Orange County Library System highlights free back-to-school resources for students
The Orange County Library System is showcasing events and tools to support students and families as the school year begins.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
As local schools return to session, the Orange County Library System (OCLS) is highlighting its back-to-school resources and events to support students and families.
Kris Woodson, manager of the Washington Park Branch, joined WESH 2 to share details about an upcoming resource event designed for students and their families.
“Ready, Set, Learn!” will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Park Branch on Raleigh Street in Orlando.
Additionally, Woodson discussed some of the library’s most popular online resources, which provide educational tools and platforms to enhance learning outside the classroom.
