The Peruvian Navy’s majestic training ship, the BAP Unión, has officially arrived in South Florida, docking along the downtown waterfront at Maurice A. Ferré Park for a multi-day cultural and diplomatic visit.

As the largest sailing vessel in Latin America, the four-masted tall ship acts as a floating embassy for Peru. To celebrate its arrival, the crew is opening the deck to the public for entirely free tours starting today through Tuesday, August 18.

The ship is docked at Deepwater Slip No. 2, located directly behind the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) and the Frost Science Museum at 1075 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132. Visitors can easily spot its massive masts from the MacArthur Causeway.
