JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Several first responders were recognized Thursday morning at the Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce’s 15th annual Public Safety Awards.
Amber Joestring, a Camp Lejeune 911 dispatcher, was named Emergency Communications Professional of the Year, while Sgt. Daniel Tollefsrud of the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office received the Law Enforcement Professional of the Year award.
The Jacksonville Fire Department’s Lt. Christopher Propst was honored as the Firefighter Professional of the Year.
William Pollock, a 35-year veteran, rounded out the honorees as the Jacksonville-Onslow EMS Safety Professional of the Year.
