TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There are dozen of adoptable dogs ready to kick off the new school year with you! Pups make great study buddies … and great study break buddies too!
Furry Friday is a weekly collaboration between WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center designed to get dogs out of their kennels and into the spotlight in hopes of helping them find fur-ever homes, faster.
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET BLITZ

This brindle beauty is a Dutch Shepherd mix who is into stretching out in the shade and keeping cool!

MEET TRICY
Tricy’s big brown eyes will melt your heart!(WCTV)
Meet Tricy!
This four year old German Shepherd mix has spent most of her life outside.
She is now learning what affection and companionship look like and is learning to walk on a leash maybe for the first time.
Tricy is a spunky girl who likes exploring and would love to find a family of her own with a little patience and a big backyard.
And her big brown eyes … will melt your heart.

MEET TRIXIE
Trixie is into belly rubs, comfy couches and just chillin’ by your side!(WCTV)
Meet Trixie!
This beefy beauty is into belly rubs, stretching out and smiling!
Just seven seconds into our walk Trixie decided we were trustworthy enough to flip over and the belly rubs began.
We did more belly rubbing than we did walking.
Trixie is not into summer heat or overexerting herself … she is into comfy couches, plush throw rugs, and just chillin’ by your side.

MEET KAIRO 
Kairo has fantastic ears! They perk up especially when treats are on the line!(WCTV)
Meet Kairo!
This handsome guy is active and affectionate and looking for a fresh start.
His owner was having medical challenges and brought Kairo to the shelter in hopes he’d find another loving family.

Kairo loved exploring in the tall green grass!
He’s hoping he’ll find his fur-ever family soon!
With love and patience, he’ll grow into the best dog ever.

MEET AND GREET
You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It’s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.
You can walk through the kennels Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
