NEW YORK – The Buccaneers make their 2026 preseason debut tonight in New York.
Tampa Bay is facing the Jets in a 7 p.m. game after a couple of joint practices earlier in the week.
Most of the starters are not expected to play but rookies should see plenty of snaps outside of first round pick Rueben Bain who Head Coach Todd Bowles said will play “not much, if at all.”
Backup quarterback Jake Browning’s status is uncertain after suffering a back injury earlier in the week in practice. Bowles said if Browning can’t suit up, Connor Bazelak would likely start.
The team also plans to play undrafted free agent quarterback Jalon Daniels.
