August 14, 2026 – St. Petersburg College will host the Tactical Mental Health Resiliency workshop Aug. 27-28 at the SPC Clearwater Campus, at 2465 Drew Street. According to a prepared statement, the two-day course was “designed by first responders for first responders to address the mental health challenges unique to public safety.” The free training, which will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, is supported by the Pepin Family Foundation and the Tampa Bay Chiefs of Police Foundation.
