WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A 45-day search is over. A Florida woman accused of killing a man and burying his body has been arrested after weeks on the run, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday, Isabelle Johnson was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force after authorities received a tip that she was at a home near Peanut Road in Cottondale. The tip prompted multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Jackson and Walton County sheriff’s offices, to respond to the scene.
Authorities had been searching for Johnson since June 25, after a search warrant was executed in Freeport. During the investigation, deputies found the remains of a missing man identified as Jason Christopher Coulthart.
The investigation led to the arrests of multiple people, including Bobbi Wagstaff, 31, who was charged with accessory to capital murder after the fact and possession of methamphetamine.

Martin and Sandra Leaverton, both 63, were charged with accessory after the fact to capital murder after investigators alleged they helped Johnson by retrieving her belongings, providing her with a cellphone and attempting to help her find refuge outside Florida.
Michael Ray White, 74, and Kathleen Morris, 59, were later charged with accessory to a capital felony after the fact and obstruction after authorities said they provided Johnson with shelter, transportation and supplies while misleading deputies about her whereabouts.

While searching for Johnson, law enforcement officials said they believed she could have been using multiple aliases to avoid capture, including Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Trash and Jessica Dowdy.
Multiple agencies assisted in the search, including the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, DEA and FBI.
On Friday, Johnson was extradited to the Walton County Jail, where she is being held on an open murder charge. Additional charges are pending.
