Man accused of killing girlfriend hours before I-75 standoff released to Hillsborough County custody
LEE COUNTY, Fla. —
The man accused of murdering a mother of four in St. Petersburg before a standoff on I-75 in Lee County was released from jail on Thursday and into Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office custody.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office’s arrest log, Ladavion King was released at 7:25 p.m. HCSO confirmed to Gulf Coast News that King was arrested on Thursday and is currently in the hospital in their custody.
Authorities said King admitted to killing his girlfriend, Natasha Moses.
Troopers said King was accused of fleeing the scene and was found barricaded on I-75 near Alico Road.
