OCOEE, Fla. – A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after officers found her asleep behind the wheel early in the morning at an intersection, according to the Ocoee Police Department.
In a release on Thursday, police said the call came in around 6:30 a.m. Officers made contact with the driver and conducted a DUI investigation at the scene. The woman was then arrested, officials said.
In released body-camera footage, an officer states that the driver had been reported asleep for over 20 minutes.
“I think you’ve actually had a little bit too much to drink today, OK?” an officer can be heard saying later in the video.

Authorities noted the situation ended without anyone being hurt, but warned the outcome could have been much worse.
Police are urging anyone who plans to drink to arrange a safe ride home, stressing that a single decision can prevent a serious crash and potentially save a life.
“One decision can save a life,” the release reads.
