Heavy law enforcement presence spotted overnight in Winter Garden
WINTER GARDEN, Fla. —
A large law enforcement presence was seen early Saturday morning near an Orange County intersection.
A WESH 2 viewer shared video taken around 2:30 a.m. showing a law enforcement response near Avalon Road and West Colonial Drive in Winter Garden. Crime scene tape was seen blocking off a Circle K at the intersection.
WESH 2’s Kennedy Mason is at the scene near Rolling Rock Road. She says several Orange County deputies can be seen on both sides of the road.
Deputies also appear to be focusing their attention on a nearby home, with some seen in the driveway.
WESH 2 has reached out to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the Winter Garden Police Department to find out what deputies are responding to and whether anyone was injured or taken into custody.
