Popular late-night eats destination Los Tres Golpes has suddenly closed in downtown Orlando.

Located at 745 N. Magnolia Ave. since 2024, the spot specialized in Dominican flavor fused with New York–style eats. Customers frequented the eatery late into the night (it didn’t close until 4 a.m. on weekends) to grab dishes like chopped cheese, chimichurri beef smash tacos, Dominican pizzas and more nighttime munchies-approved bites.

The closure came suddenly: The team posted a notice on Instagram that the spot is closed until further notice and deleted all of its posts. The space is not listed as available for lease on LoopNet.

Los Tres Golpes, whose name is a reference to a popular Dominican breakfast dish, was opened by chef Stanley Salazar with Ramon Tavarez and Chulin ForMayor.

The closure comes right off the heels of the shuttering of other popular late-night spot Gringos Locos, which also abruptly closed all of its locations with little fanfare after 17 years. The Milk District’s Nook on Robinson also announced an end date last week, after eight years in business.

Rising costs are still affecting locally owned businesses across the city, where downtown has been hit especially hard due to Orlando’s efforts to deprioritize nightlife in favor of a more family-friendly atmosphere.

It’s a move outlined in Project DTO, the city’s initiative to shift focus toward high-wage jobs and away from nighttime-centered businesses, like bars.

Just this year, storied spots Tanqueray’sCocktails and Screams and The Attic have all shut down. They all cited as key to their closures a lack of support or solutions from the city as they faced high costs and increased limits on alcohol sales, just one part of the Project DTO plan.
