A stretch of road in Southwest Miami-Dade has reopened on Saturday after smoke from a nearby brush fire led to low visibility.
NBC6 was at the scene Friday night, where fire crews had to close Krome Avenue between Kendall Drive and Southwest Eighth Street
The roadway has since reopened, but fire crews said road closures may come and go as conditions change.
There are currently two brush fires in the area.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said that neither poses a threat to nearby communities.
the Trail fire has burned 25 acres and was 80% contained as of Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Forest Service. The nearby Radio Tower fire had burned 700 acres and was 50% contained.
