DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — Four people, including two teens from Alabama, are injured and a young girl is dead after a crash in Holmes County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck passed a stop sign without stopping and hit an SUV at the intersection of County Road 185 and Highway 81.
The pickup truck flipped and landed on its passenger side.
The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Troopers say a 12-year-old girl from Chicago in the SUV was killed in the crash. Two adults in the vehicle, a 39-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, both from Chicago, were seriously injured.
A 16-year-old boy from Bemern, Alabama, who was driving the pickup, received minor injuries, while his passenger, a 16-year-old boy from Geneva, Alabama, was seriously injured, according to FHP.
