FHP investigates fatal Orange County crash involving 2 vehicles

One person is dead after a crash in Orange County involving two vehicles, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred just after 2:30 p.m. on State Road 250 and Maxim Parkway in Orlando.

According to troopers, the crash involved a Toyota Camry and a Mitsubishi Lancer.

The driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.

The driver of the other vehicle was transported to Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Their condition remains unknown.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

State Road 250 is currently closed in both directions.

The crash and its cause remain under investigation.
