CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — Clay County firefighters responded to a fire at a Walmart in Fleming Island Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Clay County Fire Rescue said when firefighters arrived, they encountered a small fire that started at an electrical unit. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured, according to the spokesperson.
A Walmart spokesperson told First Coast News the store, located at 1505 County Road 220, is expected to reopen to customers around 2 p.m. after officials clean up debris inside.
