A Hialeah man was arrested on multiple charges following a state investigation into drug trafficking, officials said.
Eddie Junior Calle, 36, faces charges of trafficking in oxycodone and methamphetamine, possession of crystal methamphetamine, possession of ketamine, possession of alprazolam and possession of marijuana, Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials said Thursday.
The arrest is the result of an investigation by FDLE’s State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication Task Force that dates back to August.

According to the FDLE, investigators received information that a person was distributing fentanyl-laced methamphetamine in Hialeah.
While conducting undercover operations, agents discovered Calle was buying and selling drugs in Hialeah and Miami Springs, officials said.
On Oct. 28, Calle was taken into custody and agents searched his home, where they found a combined 116.5 grams of methamphetamine, crystal methamphetamine, oxycodone, alprazolam and marijuana, officials said.
Calle was booked into the Miami-Dade jail. Attorney information wasn’t available.
FDLE officials said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
