“Hotel Transylvania” characters will be making their debut at SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular event at the Orlando theme park later this month.

The 2012 animated film will be showcased at a Spooktacular dance party as well as at a separately ticketed character breakfast featuring Drac and Mavis.  The park’s SeaFire Inn will be reimagined as the Monster Dread & Breakfast, a vacation destination with a breakfast buffet. The meal is available on Saturdays and Sundays during the event, and its price is $35.99 per person.

The original film, which has had three sequels, features the voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Andy Samberg, Fran Drescher and Molly Shannon.  A Netflix series called “Motel Transylvania” is slated to premiere next year.

Other elements to SeaWorld’s Spooktacular, which begins Aug. 29,  include the Scarecrow Halloween Dance Parade, pumpkin garden and storytime, mermaid meet and greet and photo opportunities with Spookley the Square Pumpkin.  In the park’s Sesame Street Land with be another Halloween parade featuring Elmo, Abby Cadabby and friends as well as storytime with Big Bird.

Visitors on event days can explore the Trick-or-Treat Trail with 12 candy stations.

SeaWorld also will have seasonal treats for sale, including the mummy dog (a hot dog wrapped in pretzel dough) and trick-or-treat crunch popcorn (caramel popcorn, M&M’s, gummy candies, chocolate drizzle).

In-park Halloween festivities are included with regular SeaWorld Orlando admission. SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream, a more intense, after-hours, separately ticketed event, begins Sept. 11.
