ST. LUCIE COUNTY – The victim in a fatal shooting at a mobile home park in Fort Pierce on Aug. 12 has been confirmed as Armando Vasquez Jr., 36, by St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 9:11 p.m., a caller to 911 reported that an individual was shot while allegedly attempting to enter a home at the Seminole Mobile Home Park in the 3300 block of Orange Ave., Fort Pierce, sheriff’s officials said.
Upon arrival, deputies found a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation continues and anyone with information regarding this incident, including anyone who may have witnessed the events leading up to the shooting or has relevant video or other information, is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 772-462-3230.
