MCO shuttle bus crashes into Terminal A commercial vehicle area
ORLANDO, Fla. —
An MCO shuttle bus transporting passengers from the economy parking lots crashed into Terminal A’s commercial vehicle area this afternoon.
WESH 2 reached out to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for more information on the crash, which said that following the incident, crews arrived at the scene to assist passengers on board the shuttle bus. Everyone refused medical treatment.
A handful of bus parking spots were cordoned off, but shuttle and bus services were not interrupted, they said.
A structural engineer was called to the scene to conduct a structural analysis and assess the building’s integrity.
The bus is being towed from the premises, and the incident is currently in its preliminary review stages.
It’s unclear what caused the bus to crash.
