TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Voters casted their ballots Tuesday for the primary election and the Supervisor of Elections Mark Earley said things are moving smoothly.
At the elections headquarters, voters turned in their mail-in ballots or participated in emergency voting which means they weren’t able to vote in their designated location.
WCTV’s Grace Temple spoke with Earley for the latest on the voting turnout. He said the it’s been great as Leon County sees a record turnout with 38.64% of voters casting their ballots.
“Heavy turnout, which is great, especially for a primary,” Earley said.
