Who won in Pinellas County during the 2026 Florida Primary?

Several Pinellas County races will head to a runoff in November, including the closely watched St. Petersburg mayoral race.

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Voters went out Tuesday to cast their ballots to choose commissioners, school board members, and a mayor for St. Petersburg.

As of 11 p.m. Tuesday, preliminary results show how people in Pinellas County voted during the 2026 Florida Primary in the following races:

St. Petersburg Mayor

Charlie Crist: 18,685 votes (35.29%)Kenneth T. Welch: 10,875 votes (20.54%)Jim Large: 9,561 votes (18.06%)Brandi Gabbard: 9,255 votes (17.48%)Maria Lynne Scruggs: 2,743 votes (5.18%)Kevin Batdorf: 1,823 votes (3.44%)

Since neither candidate received more than 50% of the vote, incumbent Ken Welch and former Florida Governor Charlie Crist will head to a runoff election on Nov. 3 to determine the next St. Petersburg mayor.

Pinellas County Commissioner for District 4 

Dave Eggers (Republican): 34,457 votes (78.54%)Anthony Ringelspaugh (Republican): 9,413 votes (21.46%)

Pinellas County Judge for Group 10 

Nick Fiorentino: 106,499 votes (63.89%)Zachariah Wade: 60,202 votes (36.11%)

Pinellas County School Board for District 2

Lisa Cane: 90,502 votes (55.01%)Nancy Velardi: 74, 015 votes (44.99%)

Pinellas County School Board for District 3 

Dawn Peters: 59,783 votes (36.35%)Curtis Campogni: 57,302 votes (34.84%)Dawn Douglas: 47,387 votes (28.81%)

Since no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, current school board vice chair Dawn Peters and Curtis Campogni will head to a runoff election on Nov. 3.

Pinellas County School Board for District 6 

Nancy Nelis Bostock: 20,504 votes (50.17%)Amanda Lord: 20,364 votes (49.83%)

Clearwater City Council, Seat 4  

Jared Leone: 11,820 votes (53.08%)Bianca Latvala: 10,448 votes (46.92%)

Clearwater City Council, Seat 5

Sam Wilson: 10,798 votes (48.98%)Mark Bunker: 7,706 votes (34.96%)Kevin R.T. Laughlin: 3,540 votes (16.06%) 

Since no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Sam Wilson and Mark Bunker will head to a runoff election on Nov. 3.

Oldsmar City Council, Seat 3

Amber Stephens: 1,041 votes (42.03%)Fraser Young: 957 votes (38.64%)Jessica H. Villafana: 479 votes (19.34%) 

Since no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Amber Stephens and Fraser Young will head to a runoff election on Nov. 3.

St. Petersburg City Council for District 6

Linsey Grove: 1,798 votes (28.04%)Trevor Mallory: 1,443 votes (22.5%)Terri Balliet: 1,094 votes (17.06%)Doug Homeyer: 1,061 votes (16.55%)Jameka Williams: 1,016 votes (15.85%) 

Since no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Linsey Grove and Trevor Mallory will head to a runoff election on Nov. 3.
