Bicyclist critically injured in Port St. Lucie crash
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. —
A Bicyclist was seriously injured Wednesday morning after a crash involving a vehicle in Port St. Lucie, according to Port St. Lucie Police Department.

Port St. Lucie police said officers responded around 6:40 a.m. to the area of Southwest Rosser Boulevard and Southwest Meridian Avenue for a crash involving a car and a cyclist.
Investigators said a man riding a bicycle was traveling in the roadway on Southwest Rosser Boulevard when the crash happened. When officers arrived, the cyclist was unconscious but breathing and was wearing a helmet.
He was airlifted to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition. Authorities said he is expected to survive.
Traffic in both directions near the crash scene was shut down for a time as officers investigated, and drivers were redirected to nearby side streets.
The crash remains under investigation.
