Officers conducted traffic enforcement at the 100 block of Harbor Dr. for the first day of school. Officers issued two (2) citations and three (3) written warnings.

Units conducted a traffic stop at the 6200 block of Crandon Blvd. for a speeding violation. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.

Police were dispatched to an audible alarm at the 400 block of Island Dr. On arrival, the side door, leading to the inner yard, was found unlocked. The property was checked and all appeared secure. The homeowner was contacted. KB-26-0761.

Police were dispatched to a residential alarm at the 400 block of Palmwood Lane. Officers contacted the cleaning lady, who told police they did not disarm the alarm in time. All appeared secure.

Officers were contacted from the 800 block of Ocean Dr. regarding a credit card fraud. The complainant told police an unknown person/entity utilized their business credit card to make several unauthorized purchases. A report was completed and a case number was provided. KB-26-0766.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a disturbance involving unpaid wages. Officers contacted the parties involved and completed a records check. While on patrol overnight, officers at the 400 block of Fernwood Rd. located a vehicle with the driver’s side door completely open. Officers attempted to locate the owner. A crime opportunity notice was provided and the door was shut.

Officers conducted a traffic stop at Rickenbacker Causeway & Virginia Beach Dr. for an equipment violation. Officers spoke with the driver and issued a citation.

KBPD units were dispatched to the 20 block of Turtle Walk regarding a loud party complaint. Officers contacted the complainant and the homeowner of the party. Officers did not find the noise or party to be excessive.

Police were dispatched to a residential alarm at the 500 block of Harbor Dr. Officers contacted the homeowner, who told police the activation was accidental. All appeared secure.

KBPD officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Palmwood Ln. regarding construction work occurring on the weekend, contrary to village ordinance. Officers contacted the general contractor and advised them they could not work. The work stopped and a warning was issued.
