ORLANDO, Fla. — SunRail has temporarily stopped service between the Winter Park and Poinciana stations Thursday, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
FDOT cited signal outages as the reason for the service suspension.
Bus service will be provided between the stations throughout the day, and the buses will stop at each station.
The signal outages occurred when construction workers near Highland Avenue in Orlando cut a fiberoptic line at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, killing the signal between the stations, an FDOT spokesperson said.
There is no estimate for when service will be restored, the FDOT spokesperson.
