Today’s forecast includes highs around 94 degrees and a 50% chance of showers and storms.
This pattern is expected to persist for several days, signaling a return to a somewhat normal late-summer weather pattern through next week.
In the tropics, there are two areas of interest, but neither is expected to affect the region. Activity in the tropics is likely to increase as next week approaches.
