Shooting investigation on Mc Cowan Drive in Jacksonville’s westside. (WJXT)
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A person was shot early Friday morning on Jacksonville’s Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Officers responded around 3:31 a.m. to Mc Cowan Drive near Blanding Boulevard and Collins Road. The victim is being treated for injuries. The suspect remains unknown.
JSO said several shell casings were recovered, and detectives are processing the scene, interviewing witnesses, searching for surveillance video and following up on leads.
