Two Fort Pierce women arrested after using counterfeit $100 bill at Port St. Lucie restaurant
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. —
Two Fort Pierce women were arrested after deputies said a counterfeit $100 bill was used to pay for food and drinks at a Port St. Lucie restaurant earlier this month.

According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, three women went to the St. Lucie Draft House on Aug. 8 and ordered food and drinks. When it was time to pay, investigators said one of the women handed an employee a fake $100 bill that had the words “FOR MOTION PICTURE PURPOSES” printed on it.
Deputies said the women left the restaurant in a dark blue Dodge Charger. Patrol deputies later located the vehicle, and detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division assisted in the case.
The investigation led to the arrest of Kamri Ashanti Reese, 24, of Fort Pierce. She faces charges of larceny, possession of a forged bank bill or note, and uttering a false bank bill, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators also arrested Kayla Reese, 25, of Fort Pierce, on a charge of possession of oxycodone without a prescription.
The sheriff’s office said both women are being held at the St. Lucie County Jail.
