Cape Coral, Fla – The Cape Coral Police Department has arrested Clinton Burton (DOB 07/16/1950) of Cape Coral, following an investigation into allegations of a sex offense involving a juvenile.
CCPD Special Victims Unit investigated after the juvenile reported multiple incidents of egregious sexual abuse. The investigation revealed Burton would exchange sweet treats for sex acts.
Following a forensic interview and subsequent investigative efforts, detectives established probable cause for Burton’s arrest.
On August 20, 2026, Clinton Burton was subsequently arrested for Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, in violation of Florida Statute § 800.04(5)(b), and transported to the Lee County Jail.
