A bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle in Lauderhill on Saturday morning, police said.
Police were called to the 4400 block of Inverrary Boulevard at about 7:45 a.m., where they located a bicyclist that had been hit by a vehicle, according to Sgt. Parys Thomas, a spokesperson for Lauderhill Police.
The bicyclist had multiple injuries and was given CPR by officers until paramedics arrived. Lauderhill Fire Rescue took the man to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash, Thomas said, and there were no “signs of impairment observed by investigators.”
Police have not identified the bicyclist or the driver.
Detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, Thomas said.
