If there’s one thing Miami knows how to do, it’s run on caffeine and reggaeton. When Chicago’s popular Cafetón party made its Miami debut last year, thousands of locals showed up to trade tequila shots for iced lattes and cafecitos, proving that a daytime party fueled by just espresso and Bad Bunny beats is all the city needs.
Now, Cafetón is making its anticipated return to the city this next month at another Wynwood venue: The Dirty Rabbit!
But first, what exactly is Cafetón?
The concept of a Cafetón party is simple: more coffee, less alcohol and plenty of dancing, of course! Originating in a Chicago coffee shop as an alternative to traditional nightlife, the event has grown into a viral phenomenon. It now takes place in larger venues across the U.S., attracting massive crowds that connect over a shared love for music and coffee.
Attendees can expect fresh brews like cortaditos, lattes and more provided by pop-up coffee bars, as well as light snacks like conchas and empanadas to keep you fueled as you dance. Live DJs will spin high-energy reggaeton, salsa, dembow, popular Latin hits and more. And if you remember Young Miko’s surprise appearance in Chicago, you know they like to keep the crowd guessing on who (if anyone) might show up!
The details for Miami’s 2026 Cafetón
Cafetón will take place on Sunday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Dirty Rabbit Wynwood (151 NW 24th Street). Just like last time, the event is free to attend with an RSVP, but drink costs are separate. However, RSVP does not guarantee entry so you’ll want to arrive on the earlier side!
Guests must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID, and there’s a sophisticated and elegant (while prioritizing comfort) dress code in place. Learn more on their website.
