Shark-shaped souvenir shop catches fire in Florida Panhandle

Firefighters in Bay County reported no injuries after putting out an early-morning blaze at Jaws Souvenirs on Friday.

Video and photos shared to social media by law enforcement and firefighters showed the shark-shaped shop engulfed in flames as crews responded.

Bay County Fire Rescue said it was assisted at the scene on Thomas Drive by Panama City Beach Fire Rescue, Naval Support Activity-Panama City Fire, and the Panama City Fire Department, as well as the Bay County Sheriff’s Office to help with traffic.
