Vin Baker reunites with Giannis, joins Miami Heat coaching staff
Vin Baker shares a tight connection with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Baker has been an assistant coach in Milwaukee from 2018 to 2026, serving under three head coaches from Mike Budenholzer, Adrian Griffin, and Doc Rivers.
As such, with the Bucks kickstarting a rebuild, Baker now joins Giannis in his new chapter in Miami.
Baker is a four-time NBA All-Star who played for six different teams in his NBA career. He was an All-NBA talent during his time in Milwaukee from 1993 to 1997.
With Giannis starting to embrace himself as the newest Heat superstar, having a familiar presence in Baker would significantly help the two-time NBA MVP adjust in South Beach.
