Baltimore hardcore outfit The S.E.T. have been forced to cancel their scheduled appearance tonight in Jacksonville, FL due to illness.
The band, which features Flatspot Records founder Che Figueroa on bass and former End It drummer Ryan Fauver, revealed that frontman Tim Buangala fell ill while the group was traveling south from their previous show in Lancaster, PA.
Buangala was checked into an emergency room in North Carolina and has since been discharged. As a result, The S.E.T. will miss tonight’s show at The Albatross in Jacksonville.
The band still plans to continue with the remaining tour dates:
08/22 Miami, FL @ Churchill’s Pub
08/23 Tampa, FL @ Skatepark Of Tampa
The band shared the following statement:
Drove halfway to Jacksonville and our singer felt like shit so we went to the ER in North Carolina. He just got discharged from the hospital and we are on our way to Florida now. Unfortunately we won’t be able to make it Jax tonight. Super bummer. We will comeback to Jax at the next opportunity we get. See yall in Miami tomorrow.
