MIAMI (WSVN) – As extreme temperatures continue across South Florida, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is searching for solutions to help Biscayne Bay through a virtual roundtable.
The mayor is bringing together top marine scientists, community groups and the public for the Biscayne Bay Science Roundtable to brainstorm approaches to help solve the heat problem.
The goal of the meeting is to mitigate heat and improve water quality in the area.
The virtual meeting is set to take place on Aug. 27 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Zoom.
