JACKSONVILLE, Ore. — A new bakery is setting up shop on California Street in Jacksonville, but it should already be familiar to locals.

Farm and Flour began as a small shack on Sterling Creek Road, run on the honor system. Shoppers could drop by and leave their payments in a box or Venmo for the baked goods and specialty sourdough. That shop has been such a hit in the community, it seems that Farm and Flour is going all in on its first brick and mortar.

It’s set to open its bakery and boutique this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with sourdough pastries and other goods for sale. It’s taking over Lifeline’s spot downtown as Lifeline moves into the old Picos Building.
