Lone Peak falls 59-3 to nationally ranked IMG Academy of Florida

HIGHLAND, Utah (KUTV) — At a spotlight nonregion matchup, Lone Peak (1-1) struggled against nationally ranked No. 5 IMG Academy, falling 59-3.

The Knights’ only points came from a 45-yard field goal by Zachary Zolman with 1:46 left in the third quarter.

IMG Academy’s potent offense established an early lead, scoring 21 points in the first quarter, and the floodgates opened from there.

Lone Peak’s defense faced relentless pressure, unable to contain IMG’s explosive plays. Despite their effort, Lone Peak couldn’t penetrate IMG’s robust defense, resulting in a one-sided affair.
