The NEXT Weather Team is tracking another hot and humid day across South Florida. We’ve returned to the normal summer rainy-season daily cycles.

This afternoon, we’ll see pop-up rainstorms in the Glades that will move into the Upper Keys, Miami-Dade, and Broward Counties.  The storms will start in the early afternoon and wrap up by early evening.

The rainy afternoons will last through next weekend.

Temperatures will hit the low 90s, but with the humidity, we’re looking at triple-digit “feels like” temperatures across the entire region. A great way to cool down is with a dip in the ocean. We have a low rip current risk. If you do go to the beach, make sure to take your sun spray, because the UV Index is very high.

The next seven days look just like today. Each day, we’ll start out warm and dry, and by mid-afternoon, we’ll see a rainstorm pop up.
