A Jacksonville woman is facing several drug and other charges after police say a disturbance at an apartment complex led to her arrest.
Teresa Suzanne Ramirez, 45, was arrested Friday, Aug. 21, by the Jacksonville Police Department.
According to charging documents, officers were investigating a disturbance at PVA Azalea when they encountered Ramirez. Court records allege Ramirez was yelling and screaming profanity toward residents, causing some of them to come out of their homes to see what was happening.
Police allege Ramirez resisted officers during the investigation by yelling, screaming and pulling away. Charging documents also accuse her of attempting to break the door handle of a patrol vehicle.
During the incident, authorities say Ramirez was found in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine and a half-ounce or less of marijuana. She is also accused of possessing drug paraphernalia and marijuana paraphernalia.

Court records show Ramirez remains in the Onslow County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond.
