TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Springhill Road in Tallahassee, south of Capital Circle Southwest, is set to be temporarily closed for reconstruction, per the city of Tallahassee.
“This closure is to reconstruct Springhill Road to align with the new elevation of Capital Circle Southwest as part of the Capital Circle Southwest Widening Project,” the city said in a press release.

The closure is expected to begin Friday at 8 p.m. and open back up Monday at 5 a.m., according to the media release.
The city wrote that southbound traffic is expected to be detoured onto Capital Circle Southwest, then to Crawfordville Highway and finally onto State Road 267 (Bloxham Cutoff Road) to Springhill Road.
Northbound traffic is expected to be detoured east onto State Road 267 (Bloxham Cutoff Road), then onto Crawfordville Highway and finally west onto Capital Circle Southwest to Springhill Road.
