A man accused of battering a woman in Miami-Dade and found with a gun and a pair of nunchucks was arrested on Thursday, authorities said.
Gabriel Alarcon, 25, was charged with possession of a firearm/weapon on school property and battery.
According to authorities, officers arrived and met with the victim, who told them that Alarcon touched her against her will by making physical contact with her leg, foot and calf.
An arrest report said officers later found Alarcon at 11031 SW 3rd Street, and he was detained.
Alarcon, the report said, matched the description of a “Need to Identify” flyer that was distributed by email on Aug. 13.
When officers found Alarcon, he had a firearm and a pair of nunchucks, the report said.
Authorities determined Alarcon had no legitimate reason to possess those weapons while on school grounds, and he was arrested, according to the report.
The arrest report does not identify the school where authorities said Alarcon possessed the weapons
