St. Lucie County Fire District responds to residential fire in Fort Pierce
Fire crews in St. Lucie County contained a residential fire in Fort Pierce, preventing it from spreading to nearby mobile homes, with the cause under investigation.

The St. Lucie County Fire District responded to a residential fire on Monday, Aug. 24.
The Fire District said it responded to the 400 block of East Erie Drive in Fort Pierce following reports of a residential structure fire.

When fire district crews arrived at the scene, they quickly attacked the fire, containing the fire to the area of origin, which prevented the fire from spreading to nearby mobile homes.










The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Florida State Fire Marshals. The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and the Fort Pierce Police Department also responded to the incident.
