Two children with autism have died after drowning in retention ponds in the same Jacksonville City Council district.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says a 3-year-old girl died Monday morning after drowning in a nearby pond. Earlier this month, 7-year-old Chace Brown also died in a retention pond.
