A Jacksonville City Council member has proposed an ordinance aimed at tightening local rules for electric bicycles.
It comes as Wolfson Children’s Hospital and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office warn about safety concerns. It’s why councilman Michael Boylan wants to add more regulation to the city’s traffic code related to electric bikes.
