TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A wrong-way crash in Madison County that initially left three people critically injured last week has now become fatal.
The life of a mother, identified by her family as Terri Pollock of Brevard County, was tragically lost while returning home after dropping her daughter, Danaijah, off at Florida A&M University, according to her loved ones.
Pollock was driving on Interstate 10 in Madison County Wednesday night, just before crashing head-on with a wrong-way driver.
Her 13-year-old daughter was in the car at the time of the crash and has been fighting for her life in the hospital since then.
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed to WCTV that no charges have been filed in connection to the crash as of Tuesday afternoon.

Pollock’s mother, Lasondra, is still trying to process the tragedy, sharing that her daughter was a bright spirit.
“We just didn’t expect this so soon to happen in such as a time. She was just trying to get her daughter off to college,” she said. “Terry was an excellent mother. She always put her children first and made sure that they were her top priority.”
Pollock had just earned her degree in nursing this spring and was excited for her daughter to begin her studies at FAMU, according to a GoFundMe organized to help raise funds to ease the financial burden on Pollock’s family.
