LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – The Winn-Dixie Company is expanding its presence across Florida with plans to open a new grocery store in Eustis.
In a release, a spokesperson said the move is part of the grocer’s broader growth strategy, which includes new stores and investments in existing locations throughout the state.
Winn-Dixie recently celebrated the grand opening of a new store in Keystone Heights on Aug. 15. The company also plans to open a location in Alachua later this year, followed by another store in Zephyrhills next year.

The grocer opened a new store in Williston back in December and has completed nine store remodels so far this year.
“Together, these investments reflect Winn-Dixie’s bold and intentional vision for growth and its commitment to strategically investing in the communities that have shaped its story while creating more opportunities to serve customers across the Sunshine State,” the release reads.
Additional details about the Eustis store, including its opening date and features, will be announced as plans develop.
