JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — The Jacksonville Police Department is inviting the community to grab a cup of coffee and connect with local officers Wednesday, August 26.
The department’s Coffee with a Cop event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Blend Cafe, located at 109 Marine Blvd. in Jacksonville.
Police say the event is a chance for people to ask questions, learn more about careers in law enforcement, find out how the agency operates or simply stop by and say hello.
The event is free and open to the public.
